Where have you been?!

Cleaning, organizing, taxes, hiding my puppy, working - working - working, trying to get some sleep. And repeat.

A few things happened this week that have encouraged me make "new years resolutions" in the middle of April.

#1 - Don't wait until the last minute to compile your data & info for tax purposes. Keep your electronic records updated no less than monthly; better yet if you can, do it weekly. I had piles of receipts and mileage log books to enter to get my data for filing. I have not appreciated sitting at a computer for 12 + hours a day solid trying to play catch-up... Especially when you have 3 businesses to tend to... RESOLUTION: get this shit organized and kept up monthly.

#2 - While cleaning I found about 2 & 1/2 months of my Metformin! We hardly ever eat 3 meals a day and I'm suppose to take it 3x a day and it was on auto renew. So I'm back on my Metformin for the IRPCOS but i really need to be back on my Provera (synthetic progesterone aka medroxy-progesterone) too and that leads to... RESOLUTION: I need to find a way to go see my doctor because things are not the way they're suppose to be and I'm having issues.

In general I just need to get back on track... with work, with my health... everything. It looks like we might have finally found a buyer for the APA so that will help cut out a lot of stress and we'll be down to just the paper routes & Maverick's part-time day job which he's going to go back to full-time once our evenings are free again.

We're experiencing one other hiccup in our plans and may have to either move or try and buy our RV before we're ready... the a/c wasn't working and we called the landlord to have it fixed. He stopped by after the technician left and sure enough... Ella was barking and going crazy at the door. He called us out on having an animal we're not suppose to have and now it seems like we may be screwed. We haven't been served a notice yet. But I can tell you one thing: we really can't afford to move right now. And I really don't wanna give my dog-daughter away. This we have done to ourselves. Yes, we are in the wrong... but just dammit, man!

Well, the receipts are calling my name. Almost done with it all so we can file our taxes.

Until next time...

**update ... I've went back and corrected my medications for this post & previous posts. It's so natural for me just to say progesterone but it's actually Provera which is synthetic progesterone aka medroxy-progesterone... While they are similar they have very different affects on the body.

Can't Hardly Wait

Today was "one of those days" that I'm not gonna miss at all! Since I got off work at 8am we have done nothing but run run run run run and it's now 5pm. I am so exhausted that I can't sleep. So I took some NyQuil and now I'm waiting for the sleep to come soon.

Let's recap shall we? One year ago-ish we hit a deer in the neon. We were 99% sure it was totaled but the insurance company insists that it wasn't anything but cosmetic damage. Okay, they take it and get it repaired. The repair place tried to get more stuff approved which was denied. I kept telling Maverick that it wasn't handling right. Sure enough in June the steering locks up on him and he crashes into a concrete column. That totaled it out.

So now we're on the hunt for a midsize SUV and purchased a 2008 Jeep Commander. A little over a month ago we totaled it when we hit a deer while in a curve and lost control. We almost went into the river.

Now we're back on the hunt. All these rental cars have spoiled me and I want new features lol. We get a 2010 GMC Terrain from the same place we got the Jeep. We have it less than 24 hours and it breaks down on us. I'm like wtf are you shitting me!? They insisted it was just the timing chain and it broke. 20 days later I finally get my truck back today. The check engine light is on, I notice when I'm almost home. Take it buy the parts store and it pings for .... You guessed it.... Timing chain issues. It's running okay. 99% sure they just didn't clear the codes. Stupidly at it's finest.

So here I am; can't sleep because I've rad to run to the banks; yes banks as in personal and businesses, run a million other errands including an oil change because I don't trust those stupid people to make sure it was okay before they gave it back to me, drop off the rental (again) and another million other things lol.

I'm repeating myself so maybe the NyQuil is working. I wasn't gonna complain today. I was just gonna be thankful I have my truck back. But these are the reasons I can't wait to live the life away from civilization. I'm tired of people and stuff and things. I'm ready to wake up with no cares and spend my day doing whatever I feel like that day. And if that's nothing then that's nothing :-)

On a brighter note... Ella was able to run errands with us because of us finally being out of a rental! That made for one happy giant puppy.

Good-Night!

Welcome Back to Blogging!

Hi, my name is Jester and I'm no stranger to putting my life story out for the world to see & read. I decided to create a new blog instead of keeping with my old one because of the history that just isn't relevant to the story I want to tell. I will be using nicknames due to anonymity for family & friends who may not want their real names posted out on the web in a public blog.

A little about me: I'm just a Gal trying to find her niche in the world... I run my own photography business. I'm working on my first novel. We are currently downsizing in preparation to live life on the road in an RV. I have a wonderful husband that I've been married to since April 2011; we've "Officially" been together since July 2007. We have furrbabies that complete our little family. We love to travel, do wine tours and Netflix binge. Oh yes, how can I forget pool, we love to play pool and currently play for the APA (American Poolplayers Association) and we are League Operators for the area we live in. Now, with us wanting to become Full-Time RVers that means we need to sell the APA Franchise and downsize our household so we're are in the middle of that.

From time to time I hope to get my husband Maverick to join us in writing some posts... we'll see if that turns into an actual thing or me just wishful thinking!!

Well, I'm off here for now... there's a million things I need to be doing and given the fact that I got just a few hour nap this morning because CynderElla just didn't wanna sleep today (oh yea, I have a "grownup job" too I work nightshift, it brings in my part of the bread & butter lol).
