Our Little Family

• Jester: the Author, this is my story.
• Maverick: My Husband, the one who makes me smile, my protector, the thunder in my heart’s beat… the reason I was able to learn to love again.
• Harlequinn & Jester: our 2 puppy babies, they are from the same litter and are Labbe Retrievers aka Beagadors (beagle/labrador retriever mix
• Jester aka Momma's Boy was adopted on 7-18-2016 at about 6 weeks old. He is mostly black with small white markings on his belly & paws, he also has some brown on his head that shows up in the sunlight. 
• Harlequin was adopted on 7-18-2016 at about 6 weeks old. Quinn is white with brownish-black markings (like a moo cow). 
• Tiger Lily, Diego, Peter Pan & Jasmine: our 4 kitty babies
• Tiger Lily (formerly known as Charming Ringo) was born on Memorial Weekend 2014 (May 26). She's a rescue from Paws & Claws whom told us she was a boy. Tiger Lily is a gray and black "Mackeral" (tiger stripe) domestic short hair. 
• Don Diego de la Vega aka "Zorro" was born on the Spring Solstice 2015 (March 20). He's white with black markings and a black mask around his eyes. Diego & Aurora share the same birth mom.
• Peter Pan was adopted on 7-9-2016, he was born around Memorial Weekend 2016. He's mostly black & dark gray, has some stripes. He's as sweet as can be!
• Jasmine was adopted on 1-16-2017 at about 9 weeks of age. She's all black with little flecks of white/silver. 

Extended Family

• Daddy: obviously my dad! He was a single father & raised me all by himself (plus or minus a wife now and then lol).
• Momma: Daddy’s current (and now only forever and forever AMEN) wife. They met & married when I was about 19-20 years old and she’s been the BEST MOMMA a girl could wish for! She has 5 kids from past relationships... 
• Pebbles - daughter of 2nd marriage. see below for more.
• King - son from 1st marriage. Missionary, has 5 daughters. We use to be closer than we are now. I miss our talks!
• Merida - bonus daughter from 2nd marriage. I've met her once when she came down to visit. She has 4 kids: 2 boys and 2 girls, her oldest girl as downsyndrome.
• Viper -  son from 2nd marriage. We dated for like a summer when we were kids long before Daddy & Momma met. He's in the Army and has served several tours in the war. 
• Liam - bonus son from 2nd marriage. we have never met or talked.
• Gaia & Aeon: Baby sister from Daddy's 2nd marriage and her husband. They have 2 beautiful children together... 
• Sapphire 1st born, daughter
• Jasper 2nd born, son
• Pebbles: Momma’s youngest daughter, my youngest sibling. She has 3 gorgeous babies from her former marriage... 
• Mica 2nd born, daughter
• Onyx 1st born, son
• Jett 3rd born, son
• Mother: Daddy’s 1^st wife and the woman who gave birth to me -we have a strained relationship...
• Gwen: Daddy's 2nd wife and Gaia's mom. I call her Mom IRL but for simplicity we're going to call her Gwen on the blog. 
• Mumsy: my mother in law; Maverick's mom. She gave birth to 4 boys.
• Merlin - Words can not describe this brother... he's very eccentric. 
• Dean - Preacher, Married. Has 4 daughters; 2 of which is a set of twins. Down to earth.
• Hollywood - Wild, Crazy, Biker meets Born Again Christian...  He's a jokester and always has an ad-lib for every situation.
• Maverick - youngest of the 4 brothers.

Extended-Extended Family

• Velvet: Cousin on Mother's side of the family. Her mom & my birth mom are sisters. She is the catalyst to me finding out more about our family's medical history and the discovery of my IRPCOS and gave me the encouragement to not give up hope because SHE has PCOS and with proper treatment and a good healthy lifestyle now has babies of her own.

Friends/Acquaintances/Others

• Sulley: is my very best friend. We met in High School although we both went to different schools. We've been roommates, we've been lovers (shhhh) but one thing above all else... we've stayed best friends and are kind of like Brother & Sister now. (He dated Rosie for a while while we were in school.) He's always been there for me and vice versa. I've worried over him through boot camp, combat missions/deployments. I enjoy seeing his sons grow up and they look just like their daddy. I can not express how much I miss my best friend on a daily basis; but it's okay. Cuz we stay in touch and we're always just a call, text or humorous Facebook post away. And it doesn't matter how far apart we are; we're always close in our hearts.
• Lady Catherine: like a momma to me, always there for me and my little family. She's a surrogate Aunt to my monsters. Jester and Quinn love Lady Catherine to pieces and if anything ever happens to us, they are willed to her. Lady Catherine is one of those awesome friends who pick up the phone just to check on you with no alternative motive, wants or needs. She just simply cares about us and we love her!!
• Ruby: my EX-FORMER-NO LONGER girl best friend as of mid-June 2016. We met playing pool. We had always talked but weren't really "FRIENDS" and then one night on our birthday (yes, we have the same birthday) the bartender brings us both out shots and we've been great friends ever since. We've been there for each other in both good and bad times. I'm glad she's my best friend...
• Stoney: Ruby's last known husband...
• Larkin: She and I met on SneezyMud. I had been friends with her husband first and then she started playing too and we became fast friends.
• Ali: She and I met through Larkin and we've become awesome friends over the years. It started off as online through FB and then we came down for mine & Maverick's wedding and we get together whenever I visited Mother in TN. She's since moved to the same state that Mumsy lives in so now there's an added bonus when we visit her!
• Hal: Hal and I had become friends when I moved to Fort Smith with Jed when we moved back to Arkansas from Virginia. We met through a common interest group that got together on a monthly basis and formed a fast friendship.
• Grace: We met post-divorce when I started working again for The Retail place overnights. She was a stocker and I was a stocker/unloader. We became fast friends and ended up sharing a 4 bedroom trailer together for about 6 months with some other friends then her and her BF decided they wanted the place to themselves to try & be a family so we all moved out. Even though time & distance has kept us apart we still stay connected.
• Jack: Jack & I had a whirlwind friendship... I do NOT remember for the life of me how we met but I know it was through mutual friends and we were always together if we were not working. We did some wild and crazy things together and it was a fast & furious kind of friendship. I'm so glad I met her and that we're still friends to this day.
• Jed: the ex-husband. We had a very volatile on/off relationship from 1997 -2005. He was both mentally & physically abusive as well as a cheater both online & in person. He had several affairs while we were together the one that hurt the most was when he cheated on me with PhatHo.
• Moe aka the PhatHo: She was my best friend from Junior High School until she had affair with Jed. She and I were part of a trio called the Stoodgettes; we called each other Larry, Curly & Moe.
• Larry aka Rosie: One of the Stoodgettes. We don't always get to talk very much due to our diverging lifestyles but I still love her like a sister. She joined the Army when we were in High School, married her husband not long after, has a gorgeous family.
• Crystal: We met online when I was in High School. We were both part of a Tarot study group that she ran and Crystal took me under her wing. I visited her in Chicago Suburbia several times over the years we were friends. We had a major falling out over a bunch of petty stuff. I miss her... 
• the Stoodgettes: Myself - I was Curly and the goofy one. Rosie - she was Larry and the one who was always keeping our heads straight. PhatHo was Moe, she was the slutty one. We were inseparable from Junior High until Graduation when we basically went our separate ways. We've kept in touch off and on through the years. 

In My Spare Time

• SneezyMud: Jed introduced me to Sneezy and I met Maverick on Sneezy after the divorce... If you're familiar with MUDs you understand that all you get is streaming text and you input actions. You can group or play solo. The developers put in a lot of time and effort into creating a unique world with very vivid descriptions... It's very addicting and I've met some great people through the game.

In Memory...

• Aurora Nyx was born on Easter Sunday 2014 (April 20). She's a "Tuxedo" domestic shorthair (black and white). Aurora sits on command (example: at dinner time they must sit in a row to get their food). She also loves her belly & chin scratched. She will stand by you and when you barely touch her back to pet her she'll collapse onto the floor and flip/flop & roll over and over like a doggy while you pet her belly & rub her sides... RIP 5-9-2016, house fire
• Cynder Ella is an American Bullador (designer hybrid of an American Bulldog and Labrador Retriever... yes, that's a thing!!) we adopted from a rescue on 11-27-15. Her estimated age was about 8 weeks old at adoption. She's white & brindle color. Ella loves her cuddles and belly rubs. You can give her 10 various chew toys and all she'll want is your soda bottle to chew on. She's a great rider and loves to go. She's finicky about the rain; sometimes she wants to play in it and sometimes she don't. Ella doesn't know a stranger and plays well with everyone...... RIP 5-9-2016, house fire
• Drakkus de Elder Thyme: Seal Pointe Siamese. He was born in the Spring of 2000 and was a gift from a friend while I was going through the 1st battle with cancer. He was and forever will be my One True Love & Soul Mate. For many years it was just Drake & Mysterie; they were quite the pair. After she passed away he would stare at her photos on the wall. Drake died in a house fire March 2013.
• Anunnaki Nysa (ah-nun-ahn-kie nee-sah) aka Kai-Kai: DLH Torti Shell Calico... she was born late April 2009 and we adopted her in June of 2009. Kai was my 29th yr birthday present. She kept Drake on his toes... When I had my spine fusion in Aug 2009 Kai saved my life from a spider and was forever more my guardian kitty. She hated everyone but Maverick & I; she came from an abusive home. My guardian died March 2013 in a house fire; her death has been so hard on me, I wasn't there to keep her safe after she kept me safe.
• Mysterious Devyne: Seal Pointe Hymalayan. I rescued her in the fall of 2000 from an abusive home. She was so tiny, precious and sweet. She spent about a month at the vet and we called her "the mystery cat". When I was finally able to bring her home Dr. Parker came into the room and said "it was divine intervention that you stepped in to save this girl's life" and that's how she got her name. Mysterie perished in October 2006 from a blood eating parasite that the emergency vet said she caught from fleas that were brought into the house from Crystal's dogs. He said that her weak immune system from previous issues is what caused her to not be able to fight them off as Drake never ended up getting sick.
